Have you ever encountered or met someone , and just listened. GENUINELY sat down and just listened, empathized and imaged what it was like in their shoes? So many times we want someone to 'vent' to, and we neglect to acknowledge the other person. Sometimes its about putting our own life issues and mini crisis' on hold and just listening. It makes such a HUGE difference. We not only get to know that person on a more intimate level, but we can learn from their experiences.Everyone has a story, which is great, but we must also remember that everyone cannot share theirs all at the same time. So, now its your turn ( *randomly thinks of * Yugioh -the t.v show) .I challenge you to dig deeper in friendships, relationships and even in just acquaintances.

So today I went to the beauty supply store to look at some synthetic hair prices. While I was their the was an adorable little girl,no more than 2 years old. She held a kid perm box in her hand, as she looked at the mannequins with wigs on. Her mom looked at her and said "honey, you dont need a perm your hair is beautiful as is,mommy needs a perm because her hair is messed up" I thought that was so encouraging, but it also contradicted what she told her daughter. If the mom felt like she needed a perm, the daughter would copy what her mom did. It made me see how much beauty plays such a large role in society. What would you say to your if your hair was permed and your daughters hair was natural in braids?

Breakfast. Some people can do without it, other people can't which is ok. My issue becomes when you dont eat breakfast and it effects someone else.Like when the train has a delay because of a 'sick' passenger. Or, if you become cranky, rude or dysfunctional without breakfast. Do us all a favor, either eat breakfast when you get to work/school or pack a granola bar, or fruit in your bag. Thanks ever so kindly.

Ugh. The train. Don't you just hate it when everyone on the platform is try to squeeze into the doors all at one time? Especially when its around 5-6pm. I mean, why are you in such a rush to get home? And relax,we are all trying to get on the train. Oh, and what about those people who rush for a seat when someone gets up especially the men. (insert face here) And even worse, the people on the train who sit there and make ever so obvious that they are reading the newspaper with you, or trying to attempt to see what the title of your book . Psst, here's a tip, you can just ask. And the girl/guy across from you who wants to have a staring contest *awkward*.Then there's the interruptions which most times I dont mind, but when I see the same kid trying to sell candy on the same train as me 3-4 times a week coming home from school I become a bit concerned.
